Charlize Theron feels feminism is such a tricky thing

Charlize Theron, who will be seen in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, spoke about gender inequality in Hollywood and said that feminism is such a tricky thing. She said in an interview that when people first started talking about this film, this loud whisper went around town that director George Miller was looking to create a female character that can stand next to Max and carry the journey with him. Charlize, who will play Furiosa, a warrior with a shaved head and prosthetic arm, said that for a female actress, that always sounds intriguing and as female actor hear it all the time and very few filmmakers see that through. She said that it was crazy that they lived in a world, not just in Hollywood, where women get paid less than men for doing the same job. She added that according to her a lot of people know what women mean when they speak in that articulation and what it boils down to is just equal rights.
