Delhi police arrest one in church burglary case

New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): Delhi police arrested a man accused of stealing money from a church in February. On the intervening night of February 22 and 23, the miscreant, in the guise of a devotee, had entered St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara Church in West Delhi and broke open a donation box under the statue of Mother Mary and made off with the loot. A case was registered with the police. The police then constituted 20 teams of more than 100 police personnel, who were sent on the case. More than 1,000 people were examined and 100 suspects had been interrogated. During interrogation, Sunny revealed that he was a school dropout, an alcohol and drug addict and that he had indulged in petty thefts before.
