Delhi PWD Minister suspends two engineers for work lapse

New Delhi, May 30 (ANI): Delhi’s PWD Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday suspended its two engineers for alleged lapses in constructing a drain in Sadar Bazar area in collusion with a contractor, following which the PWD has been directed conduct a detailed inquiry into the case. Jain conducted a surprise inspection of the Rani Jhansi Marg near Tyre Market in Sadar Bazar area in north Delhi, following complaints of sub-standard construction work. An Assistant Engineer and a Junior Engineer were then suspended for work lapse. The Quality Assurance (QA) team of the PWD Department has been directed to conduct a detailed inquiry into the case.
