Shimla, May 21 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Thursday said that the girl involved in the Dharamsala Incident has been traced and that she is in police custody.
He added that interrogation is going on and that it seems the girl was being used to malign somebody. Police began investigation into the alleged gangrape of a college student by four men in Dharamsala.
The girl, pursuing her post graduate studies at a government college, was reportedly gangraped in the institution’s premises by unidentified men last week. Himachal Pradesh police said that a special investigation (SIT) team has been formed to probe the case.
The victim who was under treatment at a hospital and her sister were missing.
