Geelani granted passport to meet his ailing daughter in Saudi Arabia, Politicos react

New Delhi/Chennai, May 19 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Tuesday after the J and K government Monday issued passport to Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on a “humanitarian issue”. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that passport should be granted to the citizens who believe in the integrity of India. NCP leader KC Tyagi also expressed similar sentiments.Reportedly, Geelani along with his wife and son had submitted an online application form for the issuance of the passport in their favour. Geelani had applied for passport to meet one of his daughters, Farhat Jabeen Geelani, who stays in Jeddah is not keeping well.
