Jaipur High Court takes very strong exception to ongoing Gujjar Agitation

Jaipur, May 28 (ANI): The Gujjar agitation going on in Rajasthan since the last many days led the matter to be heard in the state High Court.

Lawyer said that the Chief Secretary CS Rajan and DGP Manoj Bhatt appeared before the court on Thursday. He said that the court showed strict attitude regarding the upset law and order situation in the state due to the protests.

The HC strictly conveyed to the officials that residents are facing a lot of problem because of the ongoing protest in which railway tracks and highways are blocked.

Reacting to this, the officials replied that the state is considering the matter of reservation raised by Gujjars and process of discussion is underway. The matter will be again heard tomorrow.
