Gujjar quota stir: Rajasthan ministers had no proposal to offer, will intensify our protest, says Gu

Bharatpur, May 23 (ANI): Gujjar leader Himmat Singh on Saturday after attending a meeting with Rajasthan ministers said that the minister had no proposal to offer and that they will intensify their protest demanding for five percent reservation in government jobs. Singh added that the ministers didn’t assure them anything over the issue of quota and that they had invited the Gujjar delegation for tea. The Gurjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti is holding agitation for five percent reservation in government jobs in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district. Hundreds of members of the Gujjar community had blocked railway tracks in Rajasthan in order to intensify their agitation. Several trains were also diverted to alternate routes following the protest by the Gujjar community.
