Dharamsala, May 21 (ANI): Police began investigation into the alleged gangrape of a college student by four men in Dharamsala. The girl, pursuing her post graduate studies at a government college, was reportedly gangraped in the institution’s premises by unidentified men last week. Himachal Pradesh police said that a special investigation (SIT) team has been formed to probe the case. The incident apparently came to notice when the victim’s sister reported the matter to the college principal Rampal Chopra, said students at the college. Chopra, however, said that though the woman had approached him, a written complaint was not filed by her. He also refuted students’ claims that the victim’s kin produced photographs of the victim to him. Reportedly, the victim who was under treatment at a hospital and her sister are now missing.
