IT association launches cyber security task force in India

New Delhi, May 26 (ANI): India’s IT industry body National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) and Data Security Council of India launched cyber security task force to enhance cyber security in the country and promote focused research and development in the field. Chairman of NASSCOM cyber security task force, Rajendra Pawar, said that there is a need to link cyber security with other social sectors. Pawar also stressed that all the major stakeholders need to work in harmony for the industry to develop overall. The task force will work towards providing cyber security solutions while enhancing development and research in the sector. It will submit its recommendation within the next 12 weeks.
