Janata Parivar merger impossible before 2015 Bihar Assembly Polls: Ram Gopal Yadav

New Delhi: Senior Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Sunday said that the merger of Janata Parivar will not be possible before the Bihar Assembly elections, which are scheduled to be held later this year. He said that the merger will not be done now as there is some ‘technical problem’.

He cited the problem of confusion regarding party symbols. Reacting over this, RJD said that for the merger there is consent on ideological grounds but there are certain technical problems which will be solved.

Meanwhile, JD (U) said that Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav who leads the new political party and its parliamentary board committee is the best person to answer on Ram Gopal’s statement.
