New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): Delhi Police PRO Rajan Bhagat on Tuesday that the family of Manoj Vashishth had some complaints for which a vigilance inquiry would be conducted of the encounter case. He added that the family had asked for transfer of the officers involved in the case so that they don’t influence the investigation and the Delhi Police Commissioner assured them that their demands would be looked into. Acting on a tip off, Delhi Police killed the alleged criminal, identified as Manoj Vashishtha in Rajendar Nagar area. According to police, the man was wanted in several cases and carried a cash prize on his head. The family members of Vashishtha claim that he was innocent and that police conspired to kill him.
