PM Modi says Mongolia an integral part of India’s Act East policy

Ulan Bator, May 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Mongolian counterpart Chimed Saikhanbileg on Sunday jointly issued press statements at State Palace in Mongolia’s capital Ulan Bator.

Modi said that today Mongolia is an integral part of India’s Act East policy. He said that he was delighted to visit Mongolia as the first Prime Minister of India adding that India will always fulfill the responsibility that comes with the honor of being called a spiritual neighbour.

Modi then briefed about the various agreements signed between India and Mongolia. He said that both the countries will continue to participate in each other’s defence exercises. He added that the agreements signed today will deepen our cooperation in border and cyber security.
