Police arrest two for flying balloons in restricted zone of Mumbai Airport

Mumbai, May 26 (ANI): Police arrested two employees of an event management firm for flying balloons in the airspace of Mumbai airport, raising security concerns. On Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Virendra Mishra said unidentified flying objects were spotted over the ‘no fly zone’ of the airport base. On May 23, the unidentified objects were spotted over the airport base by officials of Airport Traffic Control (ATC) and a pilot who immediately alerted the authorities about the incident. Police clarified that the flying objects were air-filled balloons used during a cricket match organised at the Kalina Air India ground, close to Mumbai airport. He also added the case is in its final stage of investigation.
