Radioactive leak detected at IGI Airport, NDRF team rushed

New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): A radioactive leak was detected from a medicinal consignment in the cargo area of the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Friday. Home Minster Rajnath Singh said that the Atomic Energy team had been moved and the NDRF anti-sabotage team has also been rushed to the spot. Reportedly, a consignment of sodium iodine from Turkey had leaked in a very small portion of the cargo area and was quickly isolated. Further details are awaited.
