Rahul Gandhi to address NSUI conference

New Delhi, May 28 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will on Thursday address an ongoing convention of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) in New Delhi. The two-day conference, named ‘Drishtikon’, was inaugurated yesterday at the Mavlankar Hall here by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. A ‘Charter of Demands’, including for reforms in the educational and student welfare system, is due to be passed during the convention. NSUI President Roji M John said that several issues mainly the policies of BJP government will be discussed which are against the interest of the people, and students. Among the topics that are slated to be discussed at convention include communalisation of education, politics of environment in the climate constrained world etc.
