Reactions come in after Pradip Baijal alleged Manmohan threatened over cooperation in 2G case

New Delhi/ Chennai, May 26 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday react after Former Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Chief Pradip Baijal made claims that the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh warned him of “harm” if he didn’t cooperate in the 2G case. He also claimed that then Telecom Minister Dayanidhi Maran compelled him not to implement NDA government’s cabinet decision on Unified Service Licensing. Reacting on the same, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that all should wait for Baijal’s book and not reach to any conclusions based on certain excerpts of the same. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that Singh would have interrupted in the case only to check any corruption. DMK Leader TKS Elangovan said that the ex-officials of the government have started writing things to attract media and people’s attention. Meanwhile, BJP leader MJ Akbar demanded answer from the former PM and asked which corrupt politicians was he saving at the time.
