Several trains affected as Gujjar agitation on reservation in govt. jobs enters fourth day

Bharatpur, May 24 (ANI): More than 100 trains were cancelled and several trains were diverted as the protest by Gujjars entered its fourth day on Sunday. The Gujjar community had yesterday threatened to intensify their protest after its first round of talks with Rajasthan government to discuss the issue of five per cent reservation in government jobs had failed. Hundreds of members of the Gujjar community blocked railway tracks in Rajasthan in order to intensify their agitation. The Gurjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti is holding agitation for five percent reservation in government jobs in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district.
