Hyderabad, May 18 (ANI): Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu came down heavily on Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi government of working against the interests of farmers.
He was referring to Gandhi’s march in Telangana on Friday and a public meeting in which he was critical of government’s policies.
Naidu defended the government’s Land Acquisition Bill, saying it promised more compensation to farmers than what was proposed during the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.
