2,000 doctors go on indefinite strike in Delhi demanding better security at work place

New Delhi, June 22 (ANI): Over 2,000 resident doctors went on an indefinite strike in the national capital on Monday over several issues. The doctors on the strike are demanding basic amenities, better security at work place, timely payment of salary and other facilities. However, emergency services will remain uninterrupted and only private wards and OPD services would be affected. Hospitals that are likely to be affected due to the strike include Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College, GTB, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, ESI, Hindu Rao and Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) hospital.
