Asian Development Bank head meets Finance Minister

New Delhi, June 16 (ANI): Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Takehiko Nakao met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in New Delhi on Tuesday (June 16). Nakao was accompanied with a delegation from the ADB as they discussed matters of mutual interest to India and the ADB over lunch. Jaitley was accompanied by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and other delegates. This is Nakao’s second visit to India after February. He was in the country then to address the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit, organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). As per reports, Jaitley is interested in a deeper engagement by the ADB to develop smart cities, railways and industrial corridors in India.
