Left Front in Bihar which comprises of CPI, CPM, CPI-ML and SUCI-C, held a joint meeting yesterday. They passed a resolution demanding the Central Government to recall the Land Ordinance which was re-promulgated for third time. The resolution also called for increase the fund allocation for pro-poor schemes like MGNREGS (formerly NREGA) and Food Security Act. The Parties also slammed the Central Government for Service Tax hike at the time when entire country was reeling under inflation and high commodity prices.

The Resolution also slammed the State Government for neglection of Poor People in the state. It pointed out large-scale irregularities are present in public distribution system.
