Bihar Board conducts Class 10 and Class 12 Final Examinations for students of schools affiliated to it in Bihar. It is one of the oldest School Examination Board of the Country and has a reputation of being very tough to score in Examination.

This year’s CLass 10 Examination witnessed unusual unfair practices during the Examination hours, which was hugely highlighted in the media. This drew flaks from every corner of the country and even Patna High Court took cognizance of the matter. People say that such incidents of cheating during the examination have been rampant in recent times, as the quality of education provided in the schools is very low and such practices become the only means for students to pass the examination.

In another bizarre incident, the Board had to cancel the examination of Hindi Paper 1 scheduled to be held on March 22, after the questions of this paper were distributed a day before to examinees mistakingly. Altogether such reports bring in negative reputation for the Bihar Board and the state as a whole.
