Bihar govt does not safeguard guilty: Nitish Kumar

Patna, June 26 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said that the state government did not safeguard people found guilty of a crime over the arrest of JD (U) MLA Anant Singh in a kidnapping and murder case. Kumar said that law is prevailing in Bihar and that there is no inequality in the state, for which people of Bihar have faith on the government. Singh was arrested yesterday in Patna in connection with a 2014 kidnapping and extortion case filed in Bihita. The MLA from Mokama was arrested hours after police questioned him and searched his residences in Patna and Barh in connection with another abduction and murder case that took place last week.
