Border police bust illegal arms factory in West Bengal

Malda, June 07 (ANI): India’s paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) and police busted an illegal arms factory and arrested four people at Malda district in West Bengal. Several firearms were seized from Babupur village close to the international border with Bangladesh, after a raid was conducted at the house of a person named Rashid Alam.
A commandant of the BSF, Pradip Raipure, said that the house had been used for making and storing illegal arms. Police recovered nine 7 mm pistols, 5 rifles and a cache of bullets and other machines used for making arms. Police have also arrested four persons and a probe into the matter has been ordered.
