CEO says voting in RK Nagar constituency peaceful, Left candidate disagrees

Chennai, June 27 (ANI): As the voting for RK Nagar assembly byelection in Chennai is underway on Saturday, Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena said that the voting is going on peacefully and that 13 percent voter turnout was recorded till early morning. He also said that enough forces are deployed and that monitoring is going on peacefully. However, CPI candidate C Mahendran disagreed with the CEO Saxena said that the voting is underway but the situation may change till afternoon and evening. He also said that money has a big role in this election and that all the powers are accumulated in the favour of the CM.
