Srinagar, June 22 (ANI): A senior journalist and his wife were assaulted on Monday by policemen escorting the cavalcade of Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Minister Ghulam Nabi Hanjura. The journalist was travelling in his car with his wife in the Bagh-e-Mehtab area of Srinagar when the personnel thrashed and hurled abuses at them. According to reports, the personnel punched the journalist and misbehaved with his wife, despite him proving his identity.
