New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and President Pranab Mukherjee condemned the attack on the Army personnel in Manipur and assured that those who have committed the cowardly act will be brought to book. Parrikar said the Army will continue to work towards bringing peace and normalcy to the State. The Minister has conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the brave Army men who lost their lives. President Mukherjee took to twitter to condemn the act. “Strongly condemn dastardly attack on soldiers in Manipur, pay tribute to martyrs, condolences to families of brave and prayers for injured,” he said. Meanwhile, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi also expressed his condolences towards the families of the martyrs of the Manipur attack. “Extremely sad to hear about attack on the Army convoy in Manipur where several of our young Jawans lost their lives. My deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, we stand with each of them in this hour of tragedy,” tweeted Gandhi.
