Dutch PM and Maharashtra Chief Minister sign development projects

Mumbai, June 07 (ANI): Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made joint declaration in Mumbai to cooperate on infrastructure development. Rutte and Fadnavis also signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on water management. A special water envoy from the Netherlands would visit the state and inspect the project. The MoU was inked after a presentation by Dutch government representatives. The Dutch are known for their expertise in coastal road-building, infrastructure and flood management system. Rutte and Fadnavis jointly addressed a press conference held in Mumbai.
Both the leaders expressed their happiness over joint collaboration on various infrastructure projects, focussing mainly on building coastal roads in Mumbai. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign, Fadnavis said that he had come out with a ‘Make in Maharashtra’ campaign. Fadnavis added that he was looking forward to the projects and that the collaboration will help develop infrastructure of Mumbai.
