New Delhi, June 02 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup on Tuesday said that election in Gilgit-Baltistan on June 2nd is an attempt by Pakistan to camouflage its forcible and illegal occupation in the region. He said that India’s position is very clear on the matter and that the entire Jammu and Kashmir which includes Gilgit-Baltistan, is an integral part of India. Swarup also said that India is concerned at continued efforts of denying people of region their political rights and that all efforts are being made to absorb these territories. The MEA also maintained that a minister of Pakistan playing as Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan also speaks for itself in the matter.
