IAF Jaguar fighter aircraft crashes near Allahabad, pilots eject safely

Allahabad, June 16 (ANI): In the second such crash of a Jaguar fighter jet this year, an Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter aircraft crashed around 18 kilometres away from Allahabad city of Uttar Pradesh at 8.47 a.m. on Tuesday. The pilots are said to have ejected safely from the plane. Spokesperson of Ministry of Defence Sitanshu Kar confirmed the news. “One #IAF #Jaguar trainer a/c crashed at 0847 Hr SE of Allahabad. Both pilots ejected safely. CoI ordered,” he said on his twitter account. Meanwhile, the court of inquiry has also been ordered. Further details are awaited.
