Lalit Modi’s tweet about meeting Priyanka and Vadra in London is a move to divert attention: Congres

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Former IPL chief, Lalit Modi, has sparked a new controversy, claiming that he had met Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s daughter Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law Robert Vadra in London. In a series of tweets, Modi claimed that he was very happy to meet the Gandhi family at a restaurant in London. However, reacting to the charges, the Congress said that Priyanka and Vadra ran into Lalit Modi in a crowded restaurant, and seeing someone at a public place was no crime. Addressing a press conference, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that it was an attempt to divert attention from charges being faced by BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje.
