Kanpur, June 08 (ANI): Kanpur city witnessed a mass wedding of a different kind – one for the physically challenged. Seven couples took their wedding vows during the mass wedding ceremony organized by Kanpur Handicap Association. The President of Kanpur Handicap Association, Virendra Kumar, added the couples made eight wedding vows instead of seven, which was planting saplings. Kumar added the planting of trees is essential in today’s age when pollution is on the rise and there is no fresh air to breathe. He also said disability is not a barrier for the couples tying the knot and it’s an inspiration for the society.
