New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. The official twitter account of the Rashtrapati Bhavan shared the President’s message via a series of tweets. “Greetings to all my Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan #PresidentMukherjee,” it said. “May the spirit of Ramzan illuminate the world, show us the way to peace and harmony #PresidentMukherjee.” “May Ramzan remind us of our duties towards the less privileged # President Mukherjee.” Muslims across the world observe a month of fasting and prayers during Ramzan to commemorate the revealing of the Quran to Prophet Mohammed.
