New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Tuesday Mukesh Kumar Meena has been posted in ACB and will remain there till further orders. Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung had on Monday appointed a Joint Commissioner of the Delhi Police ‘unilaterally’ at the helm of the Anti-Corruption Branch. Mr. Jung cleared the appointment of Mukesh Kumar Meena, an IPS officer of the 1989 batch currently in-charge of the New Delhi Range, “without keeping the Chief Minister’s office or the Government in the loop.” Meanwhile, speaking on Delhi Law Minister Jitender Tomar’s arrest in fake degree scam case, Bassi said that action has been taken as per the prescribed process.
