One killed, three injured in clash between Sikh youths and Jammu Police

Jammu, June 04 (ANI): One Sikh youth killed and at least three police officials of Jammu were injured after a violent clash broke out between the Jammu Police and Sikh youths in Jammu on Thursday. The protesting youths hurled stones at police officials and blocked the Jammu-RS Pura road at Gadigarh. Reportedly, the protest was being staged by the Sikh youths after posters depicting slain Sikh separatist leader Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were removed during a religious event. The police resorted to tear gas shelling at the protestors in order to control the situation. Reportedly, Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in Satwari, Gadigarh and Digiana areas and curfew has been imposed on the link roads.
