Pak Senate passes resolution against PM Modi’s remarks in Dhaka, India retaliates

New Delhi, June 12 (ANI): India retaliated on Friday after Pakistan’s Senate passed a resolution condemning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks on the Indian role in creation of Bangladesh. According to Pakistani media, the resolution was passed unanimously, and condemns the recent provocative and hostile statements by Indian leaders against Pakistan. Pakistan had earlier also condemned Modi’s remarks acknowledging India’s “intervention” in the events of 1971 and alleged the same were aimed at fanning hatred against it.
