Palamu Express derail: No causality so far, restoration work begins

Latehar, Daltonganj/ New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): No casualties and injuries have been reported after three coaches and an engine of a train was derailed following a blast on a stretch of railway tracks by suspected Maoists at Latehar district of Jharkhand. The train, Palamu Express, was derailed when a blast occurred on the tracks near a bridge on Tuesday. Station master at Daltonganj station, Shashank Shekhar, said that maintenance work was underway and steps were taken to resume normal service. Security forces have been posted at the blast site to monitor any suspicious activity.
