PM Modi plants Kadam tree sapling on World Environment Day

New Delhi, June 05 (ANI): On the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a Kadam tree sapling at his official residence 7, Race Course Road in Delhi. Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar was also present with the prime minister at helped him in the noble cause. PM Modi also tweeted about the same on his account. The ministry for Environment, Forests and Climate Change will celebrate the occasion by planting saplings across the country. The Environment Ministry has invited eminent sportspersons to participate in a countrywide sapling plantation drive. The theme for this year’s WED is “Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care”.
