New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Thursday said the Delhi Police provided security to Somnath Bharti’s wife Lipika as she was feeling apprehensive. Lipika has made charges of domestic violence against her husband. Bassi also assured that appropriate action will be taken in this case. Earlier on Wednesday, Somnath had refuted the allegations and claimed that for five years Lipika had been demanding him to choose between his mother and her. He further stated that it is the matter between him and his wife and that the Aam Aadmi Party should not be dragged into this. Lipika has approached the Delhi Commission for Women, alleging assault and domestic violence on the minister after which the DCW issued summons to the Bharti.
