SP’s Ram Gopal Yadav supports Sushma Swaraj’s ‘humanitarian help’ to Lalit Modi

New Delhi, June 14 (ANI): Amidst demands of resignation by Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for granting of travel documents to Lalit Modi, the former Indian Premier League commissioner who is being probed by the Enforcement Directorate, SP leader expressed a differentiating view. Samajwadi Party General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav on Sunday supported Swaraj’s ‘humanitarian help’ to Lalit Modi and said that political leaders often help people on such grounds and that the foreign affairs minister is not wrong in what she did. Reacting on the demands of her resignation raised by the opposition, Yadav said that some people just have the habit of asking for resignation on every issue. Swaraj had also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explain the circumstances of her decision and claimed she has done nothing wrong.
