Tanzanian President invites Indian investment

New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): Visiting Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete reached out to the Indian business community on Thursday and assured them of a sound business environment in the East African nation. Tanzania and India have traditionally enjoyed close, friendly and cooperative relations from the 1960s. Tanzania is home to about 40,000-50,000 people of Indian origin. Kitwete said there was a lot of opportunity for Indian investors in Tanzania. Kiwete remarked that the trade between the two countries was progressing.
