Two students of DPS found dead in Nalanda, locals thrash school principal

Nalanda, June 28 (ANI): Two students of Delhi Public School were found dead on Sunday in Bihar’s Nalanda district, triggering protests by locals who vandalized the vehicles and brutally thrashed the school principal. The bodies of the deceased students were fished out from a water-filled ditch near Nirpur village located close to the school. The incident sparked off protest by the local people who torched two school vans and set school property on fire. Police personnel reached the spot and tried to pacify the mob. The locals pelted stones at the police officials. Reportedly, six policemen were injured while trying to quell the mob. The family members of the students alleged that the students were beaten to death after a fight broke out between the students and the principal.
