Unknown gunmen kill a civilian in Kashmir

Sopore, June 13 (ANI): Unknown gunmen killed a civilian, Khurshid Ahmad in Sopore town of Jammu and Kashmir. Ahmad was a local traders’ association president and was said to be sympathiser of hardliner separatist leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani. The incident happened at around 9.30 in the night. Meanwhile, a resident Ghulam said pro-freedom civilians are being targeted. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprits. Kashmir is a hotbed of dispute between India and Pakistan, with both countries controlling different parts and staking claim on the valley.
