Youth from Manipur thrashed in capital, two arrested

New Delhi, June 01 (ANI): A youth from Manipur was thrashed by three people in the national capital and two have been arrested in this case. The youth was racially abused, chased and beaten with a wooden stick by three men near his house in north Delhi’s Burari area when he protested against a man for spitting on him. The President of a Manipuri tribal community Tangkhul Katamnao Long, John Zimik, said that the north-eastern students are repeatedly attacked in Delhi and there should be proper laws to make the place safer.
