8 live grenades recovered from the site of Gurdaspur attack, one live grenade diffused

Gurdaspur, July 28 (ANI): Eight live grenades were recovered from the site of Gurudaspur attack on Tuesday. One live grenade was defused by Punjab Police Bomb Squad. Earlier on Monday, a man averted a tragedy as he noticed live bombs planted on a railway track in Dinanagar town. Satpal (57) noticed the bombs carefully wired to the railway track at a small bridge near Parmanand railway station, five kilometres from Dinanagar. In Gurdaspur, armed police exchanged fire with the attackers, who remained holed up in the police station 10 hours after the assault began at about 5 a.m. on Sunday. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the Gurdaspur Terrorist attack showed three militants who attacked the police station yesterday.
