AIIMS whistle-blower Sanjiv Chaturvedi wins Ramon Magsaysay award

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Sanjeev Chaturvedi, the whistle blower who kicked open a can of worms as the chief vigilance officer at AIIMS, has been chosen for the Asia’s coveted Ramon Magsaysay Award for the year 2015.Anshu Gupta, founder of the NGO Goonj has also been chosen for the award. The award is given to five Asians for their exemplary work every year. The Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) on Wednesday announced that this year five individuals from India, Laos, Myanmar, and the Philippines will receive Asia’s premier prize.
