Congress drags Dharmendra Pradhan into Vyapam scam; demands his resignation Part – 1

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Just days after the Supreme Court directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the probe into the Vyapam scam, the Congress party on Wednesday dragged the Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan into the scam. Citing an internal report of the Income Tax department prepared on the basis of documents recovered during 2011 raids on the premises of Vyapam scam kingpin Sudhir Sharma and others, Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala alleged that the money earned through the Vyapam scam was being shared between BJP ministers, Member of Parliaments and RSS leaders. The Congress party further accused Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of misleading the state assembly over the filing of FIRs into the Vyapam scam.
