Congress member bangs placard on Speaker Sumitra Mahajan’s table in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): The Parliament witnessed uproar on the fifth day of the Monsoon Session with Lok Sabha being adjourned several times during the day on Monday. The continuous uproar led to Speaker Sumitra Mahajan asking Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhury to leave the House for unruly behavior. Chowdhury had banged his placard when discussion was underway on the Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill, 2015, amid continuing slogan-shouting by Congress members, demanding the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Meanwhile, Chowdhury apologized for his behaviour and said that his motive was not to disrespect the Speaker.
