Exiled Tibetans condole death of Former President Kalam

Dharamsala, July 28 (ANI): Exiled Tibetans in hill-town of Dharamsala on Tuesday condoled the death of former President APJ Abdul Kalam. Tibetans expressed their grief calling Kalam, the friend of their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. Kalam, considered the father of the India’s missile programme, died on Monday at a hospital in Shillong city at the age of 83. He collapsed at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) while delivering a lecture to the students. A Tibetan lawmaker in-exile, Karma Yeshi said that Kalam was a great human being. Tibetan activist and spokesperson of Students for a Free Tibet (SFT), Tenzin Tselha said that Kalam was an exemplary Indian leader.
