Flight delay row: Gajapathi Raju says sorry for inconvenience

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Thursday tendered an apology to all the passengers who faced inconvenience due to the delay in Air India flights. His remarks come after Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju came under fire after he allegedly caused three people to be de-boarded from an Air India flight plying from Leh to Delhi. However, the Minister has denied all the allegations and said he was not aware of the same. Meanwhile, inconvenience was caused to passengers when an Air India flight to US was delayed by nearly an hour on June 29 after it was reported that Principal Secretary Pravin Pardeshi to Fadnavis travelling with him had not carried his passport with valid US visa.
